DAPLab Admin
Back to the site
Viewing as a lab member. This is the page, and what you can do on it, as a member sees it. Your admin role is unchanged.

Sign in with your Columbia Google account (uni@columbia.edu) to add an event or a publication. Current lab members on the People page can sign in right away. New to the lab? Sign in, then add yourself; a lab admin approves it. An admin reviews each submission before it appears on the site.

Add yourself to the lab

You are signed in as , which is not on the DAPLab list yet. If you are a student, postdoc or staff member in the lab, add your profile for the People page. A lab admin reviews it; once it is approved, sign in here again to add events and papers.

Faculty are added by an admin. Not in the lab, or signed in with the wrong account?

Users

Who can sign in here, and as what. Profiles on the People page are under People.

Add new users

Paste one or many, separated however you like; names and brackets from a mailing list are fine. Only @columbia.edu addresses can sign in, so others are skipped.
For people not on the People page yet, or to let someone in by email. Members add events and publications; admins also review and publish them, add people, and manage this list. Adding an admin again as a member leaves them an admin.

Lab members

Everyone current on the People page signs in as a member, matched by the email on their profile or by name. Changing a group updates the People page; Alum or Remove ends their sign-in.

Merge

For two entries that are one person: a duplicate profile, or an account added by email that sign-in did not match to its profile. Keep one profile; everything that pointed at the other (papers, talks, advisor links, role) moves to it, and the other is archived.

The combined profile, starting from the one you keep and filling gaps from the other. Fix anything before merging.

What they sign in with. Keeps the stronger of the two roles.
